What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMS Specialist I position at Open Bank?
The CMS Specialist I will assist the CMS Administrator in handling daily operations workflow and branch support to maintain system integrity, compliance requirements, and client satisfaction. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers while providing exemplary customer service.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES:
- Support internal and external clients with cash management products, debit cards, and online/mobile banking products.
- Daily processing of eWires, ACH, merchant capture activities, as deemed necessary to daily department operations and report for fraud or suspicious activity.
- Process cash management applications and other documents for approval or denial of cash management.
- Reconcile various general ledgers and ensure daily reconciliation.
- Answer calls timely and reinforce superior client service through his/her own example along with appropriate follow through with involved clients and employees.
- Maintain current on compliance requirements and assist in training branch staff.
- Assists all branch offices in resolving operational and system inquiries and providing support.
- Ensure compliance with BSA and other compliance requirements, as applicable to job function.
- Keep informed of policies, practices, regulations, and laws as applicable to this function.
- In accordance with the Bank’s BSA/AML/CTF/OFAC compliance requirement, identify and report any suspicious activities and/or OFAC violation to BSA Department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to retain a broad knowledge of tasks performed in the operations functions.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or client complaints.
- General knowledge of operations regulations, banking laws, and accounting practices.
- Present a professional image in dealing with clients, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
