What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floating Specialist II position at Open Bank?
The Floating Specialist II will assist the Operations Admin Officer III in handling daily operations workflow and Operations support to maintain system integrity, compliance requirements, and client satisfaction. Responsible to perform a supporting role between branches and Operations Administration (Ops Admin) to provide efficient and effective service/support to internal and external customers and ensure that operational quality control is in place.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES:
- Serve as floater to cover for branch operations and Ops Admin staffing deficiency.
- Have proficient knowledge of daily duties and responsibilities of all operations positions.
- Provide insight and advice on how to improve duties of each operations positions more effectively and efficiently.
- Provide guidance and assistance to Operations colleagues in resolving procedural problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in the branch environment as a teller, new accounts representative, or supervisor preferred.
- Ability to retain a broad knowledge of tasks performed in operations functions.
- Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Knowledge of deposit operations, regulations, banking laws and accounting practices is required to provide guidance to branch staff.
- Present a professional image in dealing with clients, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
