The International Operations Specialist is responsible for providing on-going support to the International Department in processing and servicing Trade Finance and Lines of Credit. Prepare and review loan applications and line requests. Work independently with third party vendors and borrowers. Work on multiple projects simultaneously; managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes. Adaptable in a team-oriented environment with minimum supervision.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES:
1. Trade Financing
• Maintaining credit quality by monitoring business performance and financial position of customers
• Supporting for Underwriting and determining credit quality and performance of clients before renewing lines or paying settlement of funds
2. International Operations
A. Import
• L/C Processing: L/C open, L/C Settlement, Loan Posting, Bank Release, B/A
• Loan Advance and Payment Posting
• Line or Credit Set-up and Renewal Process
• Auto-Renewal Standby L/C follow-up
• Customer Ledger call-back with Precision balance
B. Export
• L/C Advising, Negotiation, Reimbursement/Collection follow-up & payment process
• Processing of Transfer L/C, Back-to-Back, Assignment of Proceeds
C. Collection
• D/A & D/P Document Process
D. Miscellaneous
• Generate Proof Daily Transaction Journal, New Loan reports from Director
• Daily Keyboard input and book on Precision
• SWIFT Input
• Monthly Certification
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to retain a broad knowledge of tasks performed in the lending functions.
• Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform complex financial calculations.
• Good knowledge of international trade finance operations and documentation, regulatory requirements, laws and regulations.
• Present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
