The Service Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of a retail branch, with emphasis on client service and soundness of the operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES:
• Ensures that branch projects a professional and neat appearance at all times.
• Ensure client service is maintained throughout the branch and resolves client complaints and concerns in a satisfactory and timely manner.
• Develop staff schedules to effectively meet client traffic flows.
• Works effectively with Operations Administration and other departments to resolve any and all operational and staff issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure performance against budget and efficient workflow.
• Maintain a good audit rating and the branch is running in a safe, sound, and compliant manner and ensuring all internal controls are met.
• Ensure teamwork within the branch.
• Manage branch staff to ensure operations in meeting policies, procedures, and efficient operations.
• Ensures that operational and training meetings are held, as needed, such that staff is aware of regulatory compliance issues, policy and procedures, and all relevant information.
• Ensure the branch is in compliance with all applicable regulations, such as BSA, OFAC, Regulation D, E, CC, DD to name a few.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, but not required.
• Minimum seven years of experience in banking and/or lending.
• Ability to retain a broad knowledge of tasks performed in the branch operations functions.
• Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform complex financial calculations.
• Good knowledge of deposit regulations, business organizational documents and other new account documentation.
• Present a professional image in dealing with clients, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
