What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Aide position at Open Dental Software?
Starting Pay: $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr
This opening is for the position of Daycare Aide at the Certified Child Care Center in Salem, Oregon called Growing Minds Childcare. The facility has a capacity of 100 children, from infant through preschool, but has started with 3 classrooms. The daycare serves both the employees of Open Dental Software and the community at large.
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Experience with infants and/or toddlers is preferred
- Familiarity with Oregon rules for Certified Child Care Centers is helpful but not required. We will ask each candidate questions from the Oregon rules for Certified Child Care Centers to assess their knowledge level.

This is a full time 40 hour per week position with hourly pay. The center is open 7:00 am to 5:30 pm and the Aide will work their 8 hour shift within that window as needed.
Drug test and background check will be required. We generally don't hire someone who lives far outside of Salem because it's beneficial for us to have employees who live near the office.
