Job Title: Wireless Communication Engineer

We are seeking a talented Wireless Communication Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on systems engineering, design, and development of connected features in automotive applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in embedded software, wireless communication protocols, and the integration of connected technologies. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions within the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Systems Engineering: Oversee software systems engineering for embedded applications, ensuring that design and development align with functional requirements.
- Version Control: Manage version control for both hardware and software components.
- Architectural Analysis: Perform logical analysis of system architecture and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Design Reviews: Lead functional and technical design reviews, ensuring that all requirements are met.
- Failure Mode & Effect Analysis: Conduct failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) for connected features to ensure robustness.
- UX Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to conduct UX reviews and define the user experience for connected features.
- Customer Requirement Translation: Convert customer requirements into use cases, UML diagrams, and state machine models.
- Embedded Application Development: Develop, test, and deploy embedded applications for connected features.
- Wireless Communication: Experience in the development and debugging of wireless communication technologies (BLE, WiFi, GSM, Mesh Networks).
- Communication Protocols: Develop and troubleshoot communication protocols (CAN, UART) in embedded systems.
- Software Component Design: Design and develop software components for embedded systems.
- Hardware Design: Contribute to the design and development of hardware circuits related to wireless communication.
- Technology Roadmap: Build, revise, and track technology roadmaps for the domain, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Feature Ownership: Take ownership of features, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
- Stakeholder Reviews: Regularly engage with stakeholders to review feature selection and progress.
- SW Library Development: Develop software libraries to support business logic and core functionality.
- Proof of Concept (PoC): Develop PoCs for new connected technologies across Android, iOS, and Linux platforms.
- Audio & DSP Development: Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of audio applications, including sound processing algorithms and DSP concepts.
- Homologation Standards: Knowledge and adherence to homologation standards for HMI and automotive electronics.
- Functional Knowledge:
- ASPICE, ISO 26262
- Experience with building CCP applications in an RTOS environment
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sound engineering
- 2-3 years of experience in embedded Linux/Android application development
- Wireless Communication Expertise:
- BLE, WiFi, GSM, and Mesh Networks
- Debugging and troubleshooting communication protocols (CAN, UART)
- Embedded Systems Design:
- Experience in developing software and hardware components for embedded systems
- Design and development of SW libraries and PoC for connected technologies
- Experience in embedded application development on Android, iOS, and Linux platforms
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to understand and communicate system-level requirements across various teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish effective communication and manage delivery timelines with internal and external stakeholders.
- Resource Allocation: Ensure timely allocation of resources to support project delivery.

- B.Tech (ECE, EEE, Computer Science) with 3.5 years of experience in the design and development of connected products in the automotive industry.

- M.S. with a specialization in Embedded Systems, Wireless Communications, Human-Machine Interface (HMI), or Computer Science.
