What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at OpSource Staffing?
OpSource is excited to partner with a reputable Plastic Injection Molding and Custom Machining company located in Inman, SC. We are currently seeking a skilled Material Handler with sit-down forklift experience to join their team.
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials around the warehouse, as well as performing other duties as assigned by management. If you have a strong work ethic and a passion for working in a manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Hours:
1st shift (7:00am – 3:30pm) Monday through Friday
Pay:
- $17/hr
Job requirements for the position may include:
- Supply machines with correct raw material.
- Assemble cardboard packaging and delivery to press areas.
- Standard housekeeping and cleaning duties include removing all trash to outside dumpsters.
- Properly clean dryers, loaders and grinders as directed by supervisor.
- Load and unload trailers.
Qualifications for the position:
- High School Diploma or GED is a plus, but not required.
- Willing to work overtime if needed.
- Willing to work some weekends if needed.
- Dependability is a must
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Forklift Certification preferred
