The Quality Laboratory Technician I is responsible for performing routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance setting. This role involves basic testing, data recording, and assisting higher-level technicians with more complex tasks. This position is ideal for individuals new to the field who have a foundational understanding of laboratory practices.

The Quality Laboratory Technician I is responsible for performing routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance setting. This role involves basic testing, data recording, and assisting higher-level technicians with more complex tasks. This position is ideal for individuals new to the field who have a foundational understanding of laboratory practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine quantitative and qualitative chemical tests according to standard procedures.
- Test incoming raw materials and finished products, including LOI, density, and sizing.
- Conduct random production line audits and assist in quality assurance tasks.
- Enter test results into databases and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with maintaining laboratory cleanliness and equipment calibration.
- Store and route product and raw material samples.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of chemistry.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and MS Word.
- Previous relevant experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to loud noises and temperature extremes.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
