Optimae LifeServices is hiring full-time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for all shifts (day, evening, overnight and Weekend Warrior) in Iowa Falls . The Direct Support Professional provides assistance to people living in the community as they achieve personal goals of their own choice. The Direct Support Professional supports individuals in the expansion of their abilities, empowering them to choose and be successful in valued roles within their living, learning, working, and social environments. The Direct Support Professional does this by offering a variety of individual and team supports. The position encourages community participation to promote community inclusion of people we serve.

Duties:
- Supporting our customers to achieve the personal goals of their choice.
- Utilize our customer's individualized service plans to teach daily living skills.
- Support our customer's in their living, social and learning environments.
- Understand and maintain privacy and demonstrate respect.
- Demonstrate good role modeling for people we serve.
- Act in a professional manner.
- Complete individual service documentation following Optimae's policy and procedure.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings and personalized monthly coaching.
- Communicate with team members.
We are looking for self-directed individuals with characteristics of compassion, respect, and problem solving skills. Flexible scheduling and no experience necessary, we will train.
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensed driver with a dependable vehicle and automobile insurance.
- Experience working with individuals who have Mental Illness, Intellectual Disabilities, and Developmental Disabilities are preferred.
- Background check required which includes Child and Dependent Adult Abuse and driving record check.
