Optimae LifeServices, Inc. is hiring full-time Entry Level Mental Health Professionals (DSPs)-Weekend Warriors for Newton. The Entry Level Mental Health Professional provides assistance to people living in the community as they move to achieve personal goals of their own choice. This position supports individuals in the expansion of their abilities, empowering them to choose and be successful in valued roles within their living, learning, working, and social environments. The Entry Level Mental Health Professional does this by offering a variety of individual and team supports. They encourage community participation to promote community inclusion of people we serve.
Applicants should possess a willingness and desire to work with people experiencing Mental Illness, Intellectual, and/or Developmental Disabilities. Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be a licensed driver with a reliable vehicle and automobile insurance
- Be able to pass a required background check which includes Child and Dependent Adult Abuse, criminal record, and driving record checks
Duties:
- Supporting our customer's social and learning environment
- Assisting with activities of daily living
- Supporting our customers to achieve the personal goals of their choice
- We are looking for self-directed individuals with characteristics of compassion, respect, and problem solving skills.
- No experience necessary but preferred...we will train.
