What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner position at Orchard, Inc.?
We are seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic emergency medicine team . The provider will work in collaboration with physicians to manage acute patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department , including evaluations and procedures.
- Collaborate with emergency physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage emergency cases across general surgery, OB / GYN, orthopedics, cardiology, and infectious disease.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and communication.
- Assist in managing an average daily census of approximately 60 patients.
- Board Status : Board Certified / Board Eligible as NP / PA
State License : Must hold a valid Illinois medical license
DEA Certification : Required
Certifications : ACLS & BLS Required
CSR License : Required
Emergency Medicine Experience Preferred
Familiarity with Cerner EMR Preferred
