Purpose of the Position:
Lead, manage, and hold accountable the members of the Sales Department to achieve corporate sales goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee department team members to achieve corporate and department goals
- Create and implement corporate sales and marketing strategies at a department level
- Develop and evaluate corporate sales performance goals for all revenue centers
- Create and deploy strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve corporate goals
- Represent the company through business-to-business networking events and oversee corporate brand imaging and promotional tools and campaigns.
- Key contributor to your team’s success by achieving individual goals
- Lead and schedule weekly and/or quarterly strategic meetings
- Ensure correct usage and integration of CRM tools
- Monitor monthly and quarterly sales figures to determine strategic shortcoming and corrective measures
- Oversee quality assurance of quoting and contracting processes
- Communicate client and contract needs to appropriate corporate departments
- Respond to requests for major client services, contract, or other business needs
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and people skills, experience delivering client-focused solutions
- Willingness to travel as needed, including out of country
- Detailed oriented and motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills (i.e. Inventory systems, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
- Ability to work independently, excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to understand, speak and read English, Bilingual (English/Japanese) preferred
- Previous automotive experience with high volume manufacturing preferred
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership role for Marketing or Sales
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Sales related field
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for 8 plus hours daily
- Ability to use both hand, wrists, and arms with continual motion
- Ability to push, pull, grasp, and reach objects
- Ability to lift 50 plus pounds repeatedly
- Ability to bend, stoop and walk frequently
Working Conditions
Standard office environment. May require walking through production floor around noisy equipment.

Safety glasses at all times, safety gloves, non-slip work shoes, ear plugs as necessary
