Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Orthodontic Office Assistant to join our dynamic family with Dr. Murthy & Team.
You would play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Family Owned Custom Orthodontic Practice, providing exceptional support to our patients. The position would require a understanding of dental terminology, good work ethic, dependability and the ability to manage various administrative tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar for the dental team.
- Maintain accurate dental records and documentation, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist in preparing treatment for procedures, including sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
- Utilize 3D Itero scanner- for orthodontic Invisalign treatment
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, insurance options, and payment processes.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental/Orthodontic Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental clinic is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and documentation practices is beneficial.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to dental technology and patient care is highly valued.
