OSMS, a physician-owned orthopedic and rheumatology clinic in Green Bay, is seeking a full time Athletic Trainer in our orthopedics department to provide a high quality experience for our patients. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment with the ability to make people feel comfortable and welcome.
The Athletic Trainer collaborates with the Orthopedic clinical team to deliver direct patient care for patients in clinical settings, schools, and community outreach programs. The Athletic Trainer mainly aids in assessing patients, creating and communicating a personalized care plan for the patient and family, and delivering patient educational content under the guidance of the attending provider. They operate under Board of Certification domains, focusing on preventing, assessing, treating, and rehabilitating orthopedic injuries and illnesses, using both experience and evidence-based practices.
Work Schedule:
- Monday – Friday with travel to satellite clinics
- Between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm
- 8-hour shifts
- 1.0 FTE
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field required.
- At least two years of experience in athletic training.
- BLS certification must be held and current throughout employment.
