Summary : Assist the domestic logistics department as a multi-functional role. Work to provide rates for understanding of business decisions as well as problem solving for the good of Osterman and our customers. Additionally, the ability to understand additional roles in Logistics to act as a backup, as needed.
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Consistently displays the behaviors of the Osterman Business Principles.
- Attention to detail and continuous organizational improvement.
- Scheduling inventory moves through our current providers.
- Ability to work through customer problems and provide aide in resolution with the understanding that most situations are not alike.
- Be backup for other positions within the logistics department / ability to be a multi-functional role.
- Provide rates internally based on rate sheets provided by our suppliers.
- Work closely with accounting to ensure rates billed are accurate.
- Ability to multitask.
- Review data and reports to ensure timely flow for inventory for internal and external stakeholders.
- Fill out and provide customs documentation for Canada / US orders, as needed.
- Work with internal Osterman business teams to assist with urgent requests.
- Follow and adhere to logistics process and procedures, providing suggestions for improvements as applicable
- Support internal Osterman "customers" who use the data that is created or managed under this position.
