Job Title: Automation Tester

Location: Monrovia, CA (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract

Primary Technology:
Testing-Manual and Automation ( Selenium, Postman), POS Test Automation.

Mandatory Skills / Technology:
API Testing, Manual and Automation, Retail POS testing

Role and responsibility:

• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Testing (Manual and Automated), API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI
• Experience working with Retail projects - Web, Mobile Apps testing.
• Experience with automation testing - Selenium, Eggplant tool ( preferred )
• Experience working with JIRA, Confluence tools for Defect management and collaboration.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in creating, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases.
• Expertise in designing and implementing automated test scripts using functional testing tools like Selenium, Eggplant, Cypress or similar tools.
• Exposure to POS system, including configuration, functionality, and troubleshooting.
• Working with projects in Retail Domain
• Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test scenarios, Test case preparation
• Experience configuring Retail POS machines and test automation for POS.

Configuration of Robotic arms for POS (preferred).Working with end-to-end testing and integrations in Microsoft Azure CICD pipelineProgramming languages like C, C , Java, Sensetalk

• minimum 8 yrs experience in Software testing, working with QA teams onshore and offshore.
• Experience with testing types like Functional, System Integration, End to End, Regression, Defect retesting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure alignment of quality objectives.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to Performance and Security testing
• Exposure to Mobile (iOS and Android) test automation, Responsiveness testing

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
