Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail. This role involves working with various materials and tools to create and restore upholstered furniture, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our clients' expectations. The Upholsterer will play a vital role in both new creations and the restoration of existing pieces, contributing to the overall aesthetic and comfort of our products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble furniture components as needed for upholstery projects.
• Fabricate custom upholstery pieces according to design specifications and client requests.
• Employ hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and finish materials.
• Perform auto restoration upholstery tasks, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in upholstery or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in using sewing machines and hand tools; familiarity with power tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to follow design specifications accurately.
• Knowledge of various fabrics and materials used in upholstery work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
