Job Summary:
OEG is looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our team. The Construction Project Manager oversees and coordinates all aspects of a construction landscape project from initiation to completion and the day-to-day issues, ensuring the project stays on budget, schedule, and a quality that meets or exceeds standards of OEG and the customer's expectations, directing, and managing all construction activities, including site management, team leadership, risk mitigation, and communication with stakeholders.

Duties/Responsibilities:
-Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and work breakdown structures. In conjunction with Sr. Project Manager, lead, direct, and coordinate the day-to-day management and construction activities of assigned projects.
-Site Management: Oversee construction site operations, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently. Responsible for the overall safety, direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects from initial budget through project closeout.
-Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of construction professionals including contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and architects. Provide advice, guidance, leadership and direction to all company members assigned to projects. Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills and competencies to enhance individual innovation and productivity.
-Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures, identify cost variances, and implement corrective actions to stay within budget constraints.
-Schedule Management: Track project progress against the schedule, identify potential delays, and implement necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
-Quality Control: Ensure construction quality meets project specifications by conducting inspections and implementing quality assurance measures.
-Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to minimize project disruptions.
-Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open communication with clients, owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress and address concerns.
-Contract Administration: Review and manage contracts with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
-Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction, making timely decisions to maintain project momentum.
Requirements:
-Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years hands-on, construction leadership experience, particularly with project management or hardscape, landscape, and pool installations. Experience operating heavy machinery and general mechanical knowledge is required. Experience working with various landscaping tools and equipment of the trade. Possesses a strong background in Horticulture. A thorough knowledge of company's contracting, finance, purchasing, engineering, and controls procedures as well as advance knowledge of equipment and construction techniques required. Capable of successfully solving difficult contract and contract-related technical problems requiring excellent judgment.
-Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or other related field. Advance Knowledge of all general construction methods including but no limited to concrete, ironwork, masonry, etc. Due to varied conditions, workers must know the hazards and safety requirements of each job and must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the company's safety policies for every situation.
-Software Proficiency: Basic working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, and Outlook).
-Work Ethic & Attitude: Strong leadership and organizational abilities. Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Extended travel and/or temporary, periodic relocation may be necessary. (OSHA 30 Hour Certification preferred) Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
