Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
- Communicate with parents about their child's daily activities and progress
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care
- Follow all licensing regulations and maintain proper documentation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR
- Familiarity with toddler care and preschool curriculum
- Ability to engage children in educational and fun activities
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and staff
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Classroom management skills to maintain a structured learning environment
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
Additional Skills (preferred):
- Babysitting or nannying experience
- Experience working with students of different ages and backgrounds
- Familiarity with caregiving duties such as feeding, diapering, and comforting infants
- Knowledge of daycare regulations and procedures
