PACCAR Winch Inc manufactures high quality industrial winches, hoists, and drives for the oil/gas, construction, utility and specialty markets. We have locations in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Our business is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Production Painter/Assembler. This position is located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and the schedule is Monday thru Friday.
This position is located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and the schedule is 1st Shift, Monday- Friday 6:30a.m. - 3:00p.m. Our facility is located at 1204 W. 20th Street, Okmulgee, OK 74447. Hourly Rate of Pay: $19.48-$28.60 per hour with occasional overtime available.
$1,000 signing bonus
Objective:
· Responsible for being proficient and capable of multi-skill crafts in the assembly and paint department. Responsibilities consist of mixing, matching, and applying paint to various surfaces, completing touchups, and coordinating large painting projects, and also being fluent and capable of assembling mechanical parts, pieces, or products using various tools and equipment in a production line or table build environment.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
· Must be able to follow all verbal or written work instruction, operations, and procedures.
· Have a good mechanical background, or aptitude.
· Actively demonstrate good housekeeping practices through the 5S methodology.
· Ability to work effectively as a team member amongst other assemblers to accomplish monthly production goals in a safe, respectful, and timely manner.
· Must be capable of recognizing irregularities, or malfunctions, with fit, form, function, or noticeable difference, to assembly parts an equipment, which require immediate notification to the Assembly Supervisor for further inspection and review.
· Capable of taking initiative to constantly participate and seek new and innovative ways to perform jobs or make recommendations that can initiate the changes in order to make the job better and more efficient.
· Capable of taking responsibility with the completion of tasks with little to no supervision.
· Must be capable of accomplishing job assignments on time, with a high standard of quality.
- Operate a variety of pneumatic paint guns and electro-static paint guns.
- Recognize cosmetics issues dealing with paint, as well as issues resulting from obvious irregularities, in form, fit and finish.
- Paint with a variety of paints, their proper mix ratios, and dry times.
- Properly manage inventories to ensure the proper amount of paint and supplies remain on hand.
- Properly manage the waste streams in the paint area for both hazardous and non-hazardous products.
- Use material handling equipment (Raymond lifts, walkie stackers, low boys, etc.) to pull and position parts and materials necessary to perform your assigned tasks.
- Train and coach employees in how to improve performance in all areas of painting and assembly.
- Must be able to follow all written and verbal work instruction, operations, and procedures.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
- Have the ability to use pneumatic tools and impacts.
- Basic computer skills required for the completion of timecards and production information as necessary in a computerized production management system.
- Must have the ability, knowledge, and confidence to consistently meet or exceed the expected productivity standards for all work performed.
- Must have the ability and desire to work effectively and get along with others in a workgroup environment.
- High School Diploma or GED recipient

Must be able to use the following equipment:
· Paint thickness tester
· Air flow meter
· Gloss meter
· Pneumatic tools and equipment
· Strong administrative responsibility for form completion pertaining to safety and environment logs in the department.
· Strong proficiency in following build of materials orders without deviation or errors.
· Strong visual memorization and ability to retain knowledge.
PACCAR Winch is a manufacturer of industrial winches. Employee is working around heavy machinery. Employees must be able to operate safely in a busy industrial environment. Additional physical requirements include standing, walking, bending 90% of the time. Ability to squat, kneel on both knees, bend forward at the waist and hold hands above head. Must be able to lift 60 pounds, push/pull a minimum of 75 pounds and stand on your feet 8-10 hours per day.
