As a Box Truck Delivery Driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will make business to business deliveries to retail stores on a multi-stop route in and around the Traverse City market. Most routes are approximately 100-300 miles round trip and operate 7 days per week A typical delivery will include loading/unloading palletized freight using a pallet jack. Having excellent customer service and maintaining a high degree of safety and professionalism is a must as most of the deliveries are taking place with staff present.

Key Responsibilities for Box Truck Drivers:

Pick up freight and deliver to designated locations.
Operate and own a pallet jack hand-truck to load/unload freight.
Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
Maintain required insurance.
Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.

What does it take to drive with Pace?

Have your own working vehicle.
Meet insurance requirements. $1,000,000 in CGL, $1,000,000 in Auto, and $100,000 in Cargo
Must meet MVR, background, and drug screening requirements.
Must have active operating authority with the FMCSA
Drivers must be 21 or older.
