What are the responsibilities and job description for the VISALIA 165-1 1st Assistant 2nd Shift position at Pacific Southwest Container, LLC?
The successful bidder must demonstrate the ability to set up and run to standard; ability to comply with all quality, (box checks & sampling plan) safety and data entry requirements; ability to lead the team; ability to operate autonomously (without the operator present); ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of but not limited to: hot melt units, cold glue units, ejector units, Marsh printer units and Straub taper units.
SPECIAL EDUCATION SKILLS, TRAINING OR QUALIFICATIONS THAT ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS JOB: Must be knowledgeable in all normal box plant skills. Must be able to think in spatial terms to solve complex folds. Possesses mathematical skills to convert to decimals. Reasonable tool knowledge. Ability to perform basic computer functions is required. Must have the ability to speak, read and write English. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Must be able to read, write and speak English.
TRIAL PERIOD REQUIRED: 90 Days
