Pain and Spine Specialists of Maryland is Hiring a Front Desk Medical Receptionist Near Frederick, MD

Innovative medical practice specializing in Interventional Pain Management seeking a motivated Medical Administrative Support/Front Desk staff member. This position will be helping patients by answering phones, checking in/out, scheduling appointments, scanning documents, collecting and posting co-pays. A Full Time Entry Level position is available in this quickly expanding practice. Candidate must possess an impeccable work ethic and the self-discipline to maintain the highest quality of patient focused care. The hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 to 5:00.

Pain Management experience is not a requirement, but experience in the medical field is preferred. Responsibilities include managing patients, checking in/out, scheduling appointments, scanning documents, collecting and posting co-pays and answering phones, obtaining referrals and report tracking. Experience using EMR a plus. Experience using Microsoft Office suite is required. Maintain HIPAA compliance.

Looking for a fast learner, tenacious problem solver, and empathy for patients. Candidate must be self-motivated and possess the willingness to learn. Coordinate patient care with clinical/medical staff, Admin staff, and Billing Department. Possess a positive and outgoing personality when interacting with patients and staff in a fast paced workplace.
