Description
We are currently seeking Breakfast and Line/Rounds Cooks with previous experience and established culinary skillsets. These positions will work under the supervision of the Sous Chef to prepare food in accordance with established standards. Must demonstrate artistic ability and an eye for detail in visual presentation.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and execution of menu per Sous Chef’s specifications
- Produce highest quality product possible, making efficient use of time and product
- Observe club policies with specific goal of member satisfaction
- Desire to exceed expectations
- Assist other kitchens and/or departments as needed
- Observe food and safety regulations and adhere food handling standard procedures
- Eliminate waste as much as possible through responsible food production practices
- Maintain standards of hygienic work environment; maintain the cleanliness, safety and availability of ingredients
- Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment
- Performs other tasks as assigned
Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and have a passion for preparing high quality food; must be able to think independently and use sound judgment; must be able to work under pressure and endure long hours of standing; must be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs, and stand on your feet for an entire shift (excluding lunch and/or breaks).
Requirements
- Four years’ experience as a high volume breakfast or line cook.
- Experience on Grill, Fry, Sauté, and Pantry
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Work Hours - Breakfast Cook
- Tuesday & Wednesday 6am – 2pm Line Cook/Pantry
- Friday 6am – 1:30pm Breakfast Prep
- Saturday 5:30am – 2pm Breakfast
- Sunday 5am – 2pm Breakfast
- Thursdays and Mondays off
- Hours may vary, and additional hours may be required for member events and banquet stations
Work Hours - Line/Rounds Cook
- Must be able to work a varied shedule including evenings (2:00pm to 10:00 pm) and weekends (7:00 am to 3:00 pm), special events and periodic projects.
