We are seeking a talented, innovative, creative, and proactive individual to serve as an in-house multimedia designer. We seek someone to create high-quality visual content while leveraging the latest technology and trends in visual content creation to tell stories and connect with external and internal audiences across all platforms.
The ideal candidate will assist with conceptualizing, producing, and implementing design and marketing solutions from concept to completion across multiple industrial and consumer & life science industries. The multimedia designer will craft unified, cohesive visual stories and messaging across all mediums, telling a complete, action-oriented brand story. The designer will conceptualize and direct creative ideas from concept to design, managing all tasks and milestones in between.
Primary responsibilities include designing layouts, generating assets, and managing proofing processes while supporting digital asset management. The role also involves capturing and editing video/audio content to expand Palmer Holland’s multimedia library and creating and optimizing visuals for the website, digital ads, and social media platforms.
The multimedia designer is a full-time position for a dynamic team member with a strong work ethic to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Essential Tasks of the Position
- Design various marketing materials such as brochures, adverts, and promotional materials that communicate our product’s features and benefits to potential customers.
- Develop custom illustrations and infographics to convey complex product information or concepts in a visually engaging manner.
- Create and optimize visuals for the website, digital ads, and social media content, including creating multiple versions of content that can be used across different platforms and formats to ensure the brand message reaches and engages the audience.
- Work with marketing manager, copywriters, and stakeholders to concept, develop, and update content intended for customers, employees, principals, and other key audiences.
- Work closely with internal teams to evaluate, plan, and execute approved campaigns and ensure alignment of marketing efforts with business objectives and strategic plans.
- Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients or supervisors and making necessary changes.
- Edit video content to enhance the Palmer Holland multimedia library.
- Excellent vector art creation and manipulation.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team and various corporate stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and create visual assets that align with strategic goals.
- Design and produce high-quality graphics and ad content for various social media channels, including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok
- Prepare materials for offset printing, digital reproduction, multimedia publishing, and electronic distribution.
- Ensure all visual content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistency across different platforms.
- Keep updated with design and social media trends, best practices, and platform updates to keep our content fresh and relevant.
Position Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Art, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field of study
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the creative/marketing field designing and producing digital files, photo/video editing, and providing creative solutions
- Proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the specialty chemical or industrial distribution industry
- Strong understanding of digital marketing techniques and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive marketing decisions
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Team player with strong leadership and project management skills
- Proven experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products (i.e., InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.) and Microsoft Office 365, especially PowerPoint
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, color, typography, layout, and branding
- Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in design and development.
