What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor care technician position at Palmetto General Hospital?
Position Summary :
Under the supervision, and / or direction of the Nursing Director / Clinical Manager, Resource Nurse, or Staff Nurse, performs various duties in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established functions and procedures of the hospital.
Position Qualification :
High School graduate or equivalent work experience; and Minimum of six months experience as a Patient Care Tech in a hospital setting;
or EKG, Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification; or Foreign Nurse / Physician with appropriate documentation
- Nursing Student that completed 1st year of Nursing School
Licenses / Certifications :
Required BLS certification from the American Red Cross
Must clear background and drug test required.
