PALS Santa Paula is a specialized program serving adults with disabilities with a particular focus on persons with socio-emotional disabilities, e.g., Depression, Anxiety, a history of abuse, and other traumas that have made independent living difficult. The participants in this program tend to have minor intellectual disabilities but more substantive socio-emotional challenges. The program offers individual and group therapy with licensed professionals as part of the programming activities.

 The successful candidate must be a good listener and be skilled at working in a team-oriented environment; good communication skills are a must, as is the ability and willingness to learn therapeutic strategies to improve the lives of persons with disabilities. Routine data collection, and leading activities are a key facet of the job.
