PAPER INC is Hiring a Customer Success Manager Near Richmond, VA

The CSM oversees the success of their own assigned account caseload. You will be accountable for driving adoption and recurring usage of the platform as well as identifying barriers that may be preventing client success and devising potential solutions. As a trusted advisor to your clients, the Customer Success Team always has to wear a strategic education 'hat' to take client experience to the next level, whether that means delivering a high-level client presentation, supporting your users with a new product roll-out, or simply answering daily basic support needs.

Technical proficiency and strong problem-solving / troubleshooting abilities are must-haves for this role. You should also have a high comfort level in learning new software systems and working with data.

This candidate must be based in Richmond, Virginia,

Responsibilities:

  • Have proven experience with account or project management.
  • Have proven experience in and are knowledgeable about the growing field of Customer Success and common practices/processes.
  • Know how to manage your workflow and get the job done, especially during high-volume times.
  • Are technology-proficient and able to work with data easily and accurately.
  • Have strong problem sensitivity and a natural ability to identify issues, read others, and propose solutions.
  • Have excellent time management skills and are highly detail-oriented.
  • Are a strategic thinker who is proactively thinking 2-3 steps ahead.
  • Enjoy and excel at cultivating positive relationships and helping others succeed.
  • Are highly team-oriented and goal-motivated.
  • Excel at written and oral communication.
  • Are available to travel up to 35% at peak times.
  • 2-4 years of highly relevant work experience.

Qualifications:

  • Direct experience working in K-12 education.
  • Direct experience working in a fast-paced startup environment and/or SaaS business.
  • Experience with CRM systems, like Pipedrive, SalesForce, or Gainsight.
  • Major or related degree/credential in Business or Customer Success/Account Management.
