PAR Technology has an exciting opportunity! The Sr. Manager, Operator Cloud a crucial role in supporting intelligent, financially sound decision making for our Operator Cloud organization. Our Operator Cloud consists of Point of Sale, Back Office, and Payments. This person will have demonstrated strong financial analytical skills, Business Acumen (Enterprise Technology and Multi-Product technology company), understanding of accounting, the ability to think strategically, and communicate data and ideas succinctly to cross departmental leadership. This person will be a quick thinker and doer and have experience in directing other people’s work, both directly and indirectly. This role is an important role for PAR to help Operator Cloud leader make decisions to maximize business and financial outcomes. This person will do deep dive analyses, report weekly metrics, and analyze trends and comparisons to industry competitors. This person must take the initiative and roll-up their sleeves to work themselves as well as lead a team of three finance professionals. This position requires 50 hours a week commitment and a willingness to be flexible with priorities.

What We’re Looking For
The base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000 USD per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments. The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable.

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience with emphasis in accounting and/or financial planning & analysis supporting SaaS or fast-growing technology companies.
- Experience in managing people.
- Strong knowledge in payments, point of sale, or proven track record learning similar business in short order.
- Strong finance skills, analytical problem-solving ability, and solid business acumen
- Understanding of SaaS Metrics (CAC:LTV, CARR, Rule of 40 etc.) and using to inform business decisions
- Independent thinking and the ability to use data and business acumen to drive decisions.
- Passion for using data to drive better decision making and connecting operational metrics with financial results.
- Strong partnership and influence skills to work collaboratively across functions and organization
- Great presentation and communication skills to be able to present succinctly and clearly to leadership
- Demonstrated understanding of the nuances of FP&A in rapidly changing environment, including monthly and quarterly updates, and rolling forecasts
- Be a mini-CFO to the Operator Cloud General Manager. Own complete support of Operator Cloud Business Unit and Partner with the Operator Cloud General Manager and drive key initiatives including:
- Quickly dive in to understand the business and provide additional insights and highlight and provide suggestions for areas for improvement to executive management.
- Understand industry trends and benchmarks
- Support and strategically manage headcount, vendor expenses to focus on delivering customer outcomes, and boost revenue growth efficiently with consideration of impact on the bottom line today and in the future.
- Involved in key parts of monthly accounting close process (will be responsible for reviewing some key journal entries and reconciliations/controls)
- Drive continual improvement in reporting and business processes
- Coordinate Monthly and Quarterly Business updates presented to PAR senior management.
- Annual Budgeting Process and monthly updates on forecasts using Planful
- Produce a monthly managerial finance reporting package, (Budget vs. Actuals), P&L, KPIS including Department Statements)
