The Business Systems Manager is responsible for supporting the Director of Business Systems on the implementation, effectiveness, and enhancements for the key business operating systems used by our Retail and Dining divisions. This role will be a thought leader and partner to initiate, lead and guide the development and implementation of various business systems and enhancements to those systems. This individual will demonstrate innovation and agility while ensuring that we remain ahead of the needs of the business. Supporting strategies and work that optimize the business systems and processes for our Dining and Retail teams in support of our B2B and B2C customer-focused goals is a top priority.

- Works with the Director of Business Systems to support the identification, design, and implementation of systems and best practices to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness in our Retail and Dining operations
- Partner with IT, Retail and Dining Field Operations Leadership and vendor community to identify emerging technology that could provide an improved customer experience and operating efficiencies as well as protect our competitive advantage and differentiation in the industry.
- Work closely with our key system partners to participate in their client community to stay abreast of upcoming changes and help shape their solution roadmaps to help ensure our needs are addressed.
- Focused on driving expertise and optimization in the areas of SAP and other operating systems impacting the platform operations.
- Drive business process improvements and adoption of new business systems to maximize the benefits of new investments.
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, IT, and Inventory Accounting to determine the scope and requirements of various system enhancements and their impact on other areas of the business.
- Regularly visit locations with field partners to understand things that are working well and areas of opportunity for improvement.
- Maintain the focus of financial goals and timelines for all system development efforts.
- Lead implementation efforts around the new systems developed and deployed to ensure high level of understanding and adoption in partnership with the Retail and Dining operations team.
- Partner with the HR and Learning & Development teams to drive change management and training development for various system enhancements and implementations
- BS/BA degree in related discipline required
- At least 7-9 years of relevant leadership experience in the retail or F&B business, preferably within the travel retail space
- Prior Industrial engineering professional experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of key operating systems to include SAP, WFM (Blue Yonder Preferred), POS (TCPOS preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate across cross functional teams of corporate and field resources
- Strong business and financial acumen; with a keen ability to analyze KPIs and other metrics to determine areas of opportunity
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to get into the details of complex problems and drive creative solutions
- Superior organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills to work effectively with internal and external teams
- Strong creative thinking skills with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment
- Ability to travel with limited notice and support a 24/7 business
