What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Paragon Medical?

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under minimal supervision, installs, repairs, and maintains the following machine manuals, prints, or by referral to building codes:
- Physical structures.
- Electrical wiring.
- Plumbing and fixtures.
- HVAC
- This includes the motor and engine, CNC, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC. Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Haas controls are preferred.
- Assists higher-level maintenance.
- Assure all policies and procedures are followed and safety precautions are taken to reduce the risk of injury.
- Responsible for facility and ground maintenance.
- Expected to be on call.
- Occasional travel may be necessary.
- Occasional use of personal vehicle may be needed for pickup/delivery of machine parts.
- Other maintenance and facilities duties as assigned.
- Once an employee demonstrates competency in a position, he/she may be required to train others in similar roles.
- MaintainX system experience a plus
- The ideal candidate will be a proficient problem solver independently or with a team.
Work Environment
- Work performed in a Plant environment.
- Exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, chemicals, and other elements.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
Education
Minimum High School or GED. Trade school or professional training preferred.
