A plastic injection molding company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing / Office Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Assist in the procurement of all bill of material goods and services by preparing purchase orders and tracking order status.
- Maintain organized files and records related to purchasing activities.
- Collaborate with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock availability and placing orders as needed.
- Update quote files and ensure accuracy.
- Administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, documentation, and team member paperwork.
- Provide front office support when necessary, greeting visitors and handling inquiries professionally.
- Utilize MS Word, Excel, and Outlook to create reports and spreadsheets that support purchasing and office administration activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement and administration.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in purchasing administration role or similar position; experience with inventory system is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize workload efficiently.
- High level of computer literacy with experience in office software applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and team members.
