Location:

800 N. Justice St, Hendersonville, NC 28791

Unit: Psychiatric and Addiction Therapeutic Healing Services RN

Shift/Hours:

Night Shift: 6:45pm - 7:15am

Day Shift 6:45am-7:15pm

Shifts vary, must be comfortable working both.

· 36 hours/week

Holiday/Weekend Requirement:

· Weekend: Sat-Sun, Every other weekend

· Holidays: Rotating holiday schedule per policy.

Call Requirement: None

Responsibilities:

• Care for behavioral health patients.
• Monitor and assess a patient's treatment strategy and recovery process, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses.
• Responsible for administering patient medications, and in the case of MAT can deploy behavioral therapy techniques.
• Provide a comprehensive assessment and evaluation of individual patient needs on assigned patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and contributes to the treatment and discharge plans by identifying needed resources to provide continuity of care.

Must Haves:

License: NC RN License or Compact License

Certification: BLS

Experience: New Grads Considered

Education: Associates Degree of Nursing.

About the Unit:

· Number of beds: 21

· Patient Population: Mental health/medical detoxification

· Nurse to patient ratio: 1:6-7

· Common diagnoses: Major depression; Bipolar DO; Schizophrenia; Alcohol Dependence; Substance Abuse Disorder
