Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Consultant with 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, while ensuring the quality and reliability of ServiceNow implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis:
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for ServiceNow implementations
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flows, use cases, and user stories
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and resolve conflicts
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of ServiceNow solutions
Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform thorough functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools
- Validate that implementations meet business requirements and adhere to best practices
- Provide detailed test reports and recommendations for improvements
ServiceNow Expertise:
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and CSM
- Stay updated on ServiceNow releases and new features
- Provide guidance on ServiceNow best practices and recommend process improvements
- Assist in configuration and customization of ServiceNow instances
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst and Quality Assurance professional in ServiceNow implementations
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in creating detailed documentation and reports
Preferred:
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certifications in relevant modules
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript)
- Experience in change management and training end-users
