About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Business Planning to spearhead the development and execution of business plans and portfolio-wide strategies aimed at driving subscriber and revenue growth across all distribution channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the annual distribution plan, which informs fiscal budgeting and quarterly subscriber and revenue targets. This role requires a highly independent and analytical individual with a strong ability to work cross-functionally, particularly in framing distribution strategic planning, outlining key initiatives, and analyzing financial plans. The VP will also be the main conduit between distribution and finance, ensuring alignment between forecast and operating plans, and will be involved in the approval process for all account offers, pricing, and initiatives.Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in strategy consulting, finance, investment banking, business development, or similar functions within the media or related technology industries. Strong quantitative skills, financial acumen, and experience with tools such as SQL and Tableau are essential. The role demands a candidate with persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to distill complex information into key points for a range of stakeholders. A background in distribution, including OTT, SVOD, or 3rd party platforms, is preferred, as is an MBA from a leading business school. The VP will also be expected to stay abreast of emerging trends in the industry and collaborate effectively under tight deadlines.
