GARAGE FOREMAN

Parkland School District is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to fill the position of Garage Foreman. This is an administative position.

Position available: January, 2025

Must possess the following:

• Licenses: Valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with "S" and "P" Endorsement and air brake restriction lifted, Pennsylvania Inspection License Class 7
• Experience: Seven (7) years of fleet mechanical experience, Five (5) years of school bus experience, Five (5) years of diesel experience
• Knowledge, skills and experience to effectively supervise, lead and delegate a garage with multiple staff.
• General knowlegde of the geographic area of the Parkland School District.
• Ability to maintain a positive working relationship through organizational and delegation skills with other employees and the public. Ability to relate well and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with students, staff, co-workers, and supervisors.
