What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA 11pm to 7 am shift 2 days a week position at Parkside Manor, LLC?
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for the 11pm to 7am shift. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, assisting them with activities of daily living, monitoring their health and well-being, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Helping residents with eating and drinking, and monitoring their nutritional intake
- Taking and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assisting with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents
- Observing and reporting any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintaining a clean and organized environment in residents' rooms and common areas
Qualifications:
- Valid CNA certification
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, such as lifting and bending
