Adventure Club Activity Assistant (Part-Time)

Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed is a partnership between the Parkway and Rockwood school districts that provides programs to enhance the quality of life for residents in the areas of adult education & literacy, aquatics, art, enrichment, outdoor education, school-age care and sports & fitness.

We are currently seeking a part-time Adventure Club Activity Assistant at various elementary schools across the Parkway and Rockwood school districts. The Adventure Club Activity Assistant is responsible for providing on-site supervision and staffing, creating an encouraging and safe environment for children.

• Part-time position; flexible and fun
• Make a difference working with kids
• Assist with activities developed by facilitator
• Communicates with parents clearly and effectively, if needed
• Ability to interact with children on their level
• Manage accountability and safety of all children in attendance

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week

Schedule:

• Afternoon shift
• After school
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift

Application Question(s):

• Ability to lift at least 20 lbs. Ability to perform activities such as squatting, sitting, bending, twisting, lifting, talking, hearing, seeing and walking.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Childcare: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Required)
• Night Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• St. Louis, MO (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• St. Louis, MO: Relocate before starting work (Required)
