Parra Loan Company is dedicated to providing our community with accessible financial services, offering loans up to $1,760. With over 50 years of service, we are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) specializing in collections.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in-person to discuss account status and payment options.
- Identify accounts with overdue payments and take proactive steps to encourage timely repayment.
- Assist customers with making payments, setting up payment plans, and resolving any payment issues.
- Update and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment agreements, and account status.
- Address and resolve customer questions, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Occasionally visit customers for in-person collections and account discussions.
- Work closely with the branch manager and other team members for successful debt recovery.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in customer service, collections, or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Customer-centric attitude with a focus on problem-solving
- Own transportation and valid driver’s license
- Availability to work 35-40 hours a week, including some Saturdays
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
