Compensation : $21.00-$28.00 (DOE). Differentials $2 / hour nights & $2 / hour weekend.
Sign-on Bonus : $1,000, paid after 90 days of employment.
Location -Hospice House in Bend, Oregon.
Shift : Offer a minimum of 5 Night shifts per month. Hours 6 : 30 pm-to 6 : 30 am (12-hour shifts)
What You Get To Do :
- Provide personal care as outlined in the plan of care, maintaining patient privacy while demonstrating sensitivity to patient comfort and privacy.
- Assess the patient's ability to tolerate treatment before beginning care. Assess patient condition aftercare.
- Coordinate with a care manager or registered nurse to ensure the care plan is updated and accurate and report any changes in patient condition, including applicable documentation.
- Assist the patient with all aspects of personal care, ambulation, and positioning as required and guide the family / caregiver regarding the patient's personal care.
- At Hospice House, prepare meals, serve according to policy and procedure, and assist with feeding as required. Perform housekeeping services that are necessary for the health and safety of the patient / family / caregiver.
