Party Fowl is Hiring a Kitchen Manager Near Destin, FL

Do you love creating great food and memorable dining experiences? We are looking for an experienced kitchen manager to join our talented team and help make the daily operations of our kitchen run with precision. As the kitchen manager, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ordering supplies, scheduling shifts, and monitoring inventory levels.

You have proven culinary AND management experience. You’re an excellent communicator and very organized with strong leadership skills and a can-do attitude.

Kitchen manager responsibilities:

• Order materials, supplies, and ingredients based on demand.

• Supervise kitchen employees and organize food orders.

• Oversee the food preparation and cooking process.

• Recruit and train kitchen employees in designated stations.

• Monitor inventory levels and perform weekly inventory assessments.Work with the restaurant manager to price and change menu items.

• Schedule work shifts for employees.Store all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized.

• Maintain weekly and monthly cost reports.

• Cover kitchen stations as needed.

Kitchen manager requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook and expediter.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

• Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices, cooking practices and tools.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Neat professional appearance with an aptitude for multi-tasking.

• Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.

• Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts, and lift at least 25 pounds.

• Knowledge and ability to comply with all food safety procedures.

• Availability to work evenings and on weekends, including some holidays.

The newest locations also include Hamilton Place in Chattanooga, TN; Nashville International Airport (BNA); Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans; and most recently, Destin, Florida at the Destin Commons.
The menu, created by executive Chef Bart Pickens, includes a number of Nashville Hot Chicken dishes with heat levels ranging from mild to “Poultrygeist,” as well as creative spins on the classics. Party Fowl offers local beers on draft and signature "Boozy Slushies." With wall-to-wall large screen TVs, full service, and full bar, entertainment abounds. Owners Austin Smith and Nick Jacobson opened the restaurant with the hopes of bringing together the best of Nashville under one roof by combining great food, great drinks and a great experience. Since its expansion, Party Fowl hopes to showcase a taste of Nashville and southern hospitality to all those who enter the doors.
