What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Aide position at Pascua Yaqui Tribe?
The position of Warehouse Aide is established for facilitating the receipt, storage, restocking, and delivery of USDA foods to eligible participants on a walk-in basis and/or tailgate/home delivery basis.

- Is responsible for the loading/unloading of USDA foods received on a monthly/weekly basis.
- Shall inspect the USDA foods received for the Best If Used By (BIUB) dates, counting, quantities, etc.
- Is responsible for stocking and taking daily inventories of USDA foods.
- Is responsible for loading USDA foods into program?s delivery truck for tailgate distributions.
- Is responsible for maintaining daily temperate logs on all USDA foods in dry, refrigerated, and/or freezer units.
- Shall be responsible for preparing/assisting households with the distribution of monthly food packages, using the participant?s issuance receipt as a guide, both at the FDPIR facility and/or at tailgate/home delivery sites.
- Shall conduct a monthly physical inventory of all USDA foods in storage to ensure accurate accountability for monthly USDA reports.
- Is responsible for separating damaged/spoiled, or out-of-condition foods for disposal procedures.
- Should assist in the coordination of monthly disposal procedures by a local environmental health technician.
- Is responsible for the general housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse and delivery truck to prevent possible infestation of any USDA foods.
- Shall review the federal regulations and guidelines that apply to warehousing (FNS Handbook 501 and 7 CFR 253), etc.
- Shall adhere to Pascua Yaqui?s policies and procedures.
- Shall ensure the of adequate stock levels and records on all material; participate and schedule inventory,

- Must have a Food Handlers Card or obtain a card within the first three (6) months of hire;
- Forklift training for operator?s certificate
- Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver?s License;
- This position will require the incumbent to work non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends;
- Must have a current Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card or be able to obtain the Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card within ninety (90) days of hire. Failure to maintain a current Level 1 Clearance Card will result in termination.
