DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises, Inc. is looking to fill a Cloud Architect III position at Ft Belvoir, VA.
Primary duties will include (but not limited to):
- Responsible for engineering, building, testing, and deployment of cloud service offerings for new and existing cloud architectures.
- Develops architecture products including technical architecture, business architecture, strategic planning, and business process design.
- Participates in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.
- Applies high-level business and technical principles and methods to difficult technical problems to arrive at creative engineering solutions.
- Adept at migrating systems to a cloud architecture from disparate platforms and utilizing a wide range of tools to implement/re-implement systems in a cloud architecture, including
- Provides cloud architectural expertise to management and technical staff.
- Develops cloud architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.
- Develops cloud system strategy and infrastructure design to support the strategy.
- Advises on selection of cloud technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and application requirements.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Demonstrated ability migrating systems to a cloud architecture from disparate platforms and utilizing a wide range of tools to implement/re-implement systems in a cloud architecture.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree and 10 years of experience.
- Experience working with Cloud Service Providers.
- Experience utilizing elastic cloud computing (desired).
