You’ll be responsible for concierge-style customer service and impeccable patient care. You’ll work in tandem with our receptionists and veterinarians to provide our clients and patients with excellent veterinary experiences in a loving and welcoming environment.
You Will Be
- Providing excellent customer service for our clients and their pets.
- Room management & digital record keeping.
- Patient handling and restraint.
- Medication administration & filling prescriptions.
- Venipuncture & IVC placement.
- Digital radiology.
- In-house & outbound cytology and blood work.
- Dental prophylaxis & radiology.
- Peri-operative care.
- Tech appointments: Vaccines, nail trims, AGE, ear cleaning, suture removal, etc.
- Answering phone calls and assisting clients with scheduling appointments and pet health questions.
- Interpreting Veterinarian orders and our protocols to work autonomously and educate clients.
- Tackling projects as assigned (with a smile, as always!)
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Have at least 1 year of small animal tech experience (current coursework may replace).
- Have a working knowledge of veterinary terminology, supplies, and procedures.
- Are bright, friendly, and excellent communicators to our clients, and staff. (It’s okay if you talk to animals, too!)
- Be able to sit, stand, walk, and move freely for extended periods of time (hour-long breaks!)
- Be able to lift 50lbs
- RVT, LVT, CVT, or Pre-Vet a plus!
- Have the desire to constantly grow and advance as a veterinary technician!
