Job Summary
This role involves a variety of responsibilities essential to the success of our industrial cleaning operations. While the primary duties are listed below, other tasks may be assigned as needed by management to support team goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety First: Ensure that health and safety are always the top priorities by adhering to all company policies and procedures, and maintaining a strong focus on safety in all activities.
- Equipment Operation: Operate high-pressure water blasters and vacuum equipment proficiently and safely.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Properly wear and utilize required PPE, including respirators, and protection for skin, face, hands, and feet, often in various combinations depending on the job.
- Quality Workmanship: Perform tasks with precision, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Communication: Maintain clear, effective communication with supervisors regarding any safety concerns, quality issues, or integrity challenges.
- Availability: Be available for work 24/7, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Qualifications
- TWIC Card: Must possess a current Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
- Driver’s License: Class C driver’s license required (Class A or B preferred), with an acceptable driving record.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience within the industrial cleaning industry.
- Certifications: Ability to complete necessary site safety courses, such as 40-hour HAZWOPER.
- Work Schedule: Able to work shift-based hours, participate in turnaround projects, and be on-call during weekends.
- Professionalism: Present a professional appearance and demeanor, with strong communication skills when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Safety Focus: A strong commitment to safety is essential for this role.
- Fit for Duty: Must pass a fit test as required by the role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Requirements
- Ability to pass a medical screening and drug test (pre-employment, random, and annual).
- Successfully pass a background check.
- Ability to perform duties in compliance with company training and standard operating procedures.
