We are seeking applicants for an Instrumentation Technician in our International Falls, MN Paper Mill. The International Falls facility is a White Paper Mill owned by Packaging Corporation of America.
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic control systems and PLC’s.
Install, repair, maintain and troubleshoot DC & AC machinery.
Install, repair, maintain and troubleshoot variable speed AC & DC drives.
Install, repair, maintain and troubleshoot control equipment and instrumentation.
Install, repair, maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic control equipment.
Program electronic controllers and tune control loops.
Documentation updates and print reading.
Follow electrical safe practices.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Graduate or GED
3 years of experience and/or the completion of a Technical School or an apprenticeship program.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to use advanced electronic test equipment
Ability to install, repair, maintain and troubleshoot industrial control systems.
Ability to troubleshoot electronic control systems, diagrams, and PLC’s.
Have knowledge of safe electrical work practices.
