Here's how a Field Engieer Interncontributes to our team:

* Prepares quantity takeoffs for material orders, etc.

* Liaises with trade contractors, consultants, designers, engineers.

* Manages trade partnerwork and provides day-to-day direction.

* Mentors and leads inspections and orientations, identifies hazards and corrections, and leads by example for health and safety practices and procedures.

* Attends daily safety meetings and leads toolbox talks.

* Assists with change management, including to collect and interpret information. Ensures required scope changes are implemented in field.

* Monitors project schedules and three-week lookaheads.

* Monitors weekly productivities.

* Updates drawings and specifications.

* Coordinates with superintendent on workforce planning.

* Maintains project document control and procedures. Supports project engineers and/or superintendents to manage trade contractors, including requests for information (RFIs), shop drawings, changes, and billings.

* Tracks time sheets and orders materials and equipment.

* Conducts complex quality inspections.

* Manages materials and equipment inventory.

* Monitors weekly productivities.

* Assists with engineering on self-performed scopes. Performs drafting for selfperform scope, as required.

* Participates in the supervision of self-perform scopes, including determining crew sizes, labor tracking, and quantity tracking for Labor Cost Reports (LCRs).

* Mentors and coaches field engineers and students/interns).

* Identifies issues on-site or in defined work scopes.

* Coordinates third-party inspections and site reviews.

* Participates in creating, implementing, and monitoring quality plan, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).

* Tracks cost and quantity.

* Identifies complex engineering needs.

* Develop and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders.
