What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer position at PDS Tech?
1-3 years buying experience (preferably in Aerospace but not required)
Experience working with SAP
Ability to work within a team environment, self starter
*Position is hybrid of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.
May require a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
