Description
We are a family dental practice with a fun and team-oriented office environment seeking an experienced EDDA-Dental Assistant to join our team. This is a full time, Monday-Thursday position which gives you long weekends and a sustainable work-life balance. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities to include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting Dentist chairside throughout procedures by providing the best clinical and non-clinical experience to each patient
- Reviewing patient health history
- Daily set up and organization of instruments needed for procedures throughout the day
- Capturing diagnostic X-Rays
- Taking impressions (traditional and digital)
- Making temporary crowns
- Organization and sterilization of the operatories
- Assisting with lab tasks and procedures
- Sterilization of all dental and medical instruments
- Using Denticon to update patient records
- Scheduling patient appointments
Requirements
- 2 years of EDDA experience
- Xray Certification required
- DA certification preferred
- EDDA certification preferred
- Must have strong chairside skills
- We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills
- Must have great attention to detail
- Must be dedicated to supporting our doctor and the team
- Must have the ability to be coached and given direction
- Knowledge Denticon software is preferred but not required
