In this role, you will assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs tailored to meet the needs of our residents. You will work closely with our team to create a positive, meaningful experience for each resident.
Key Responsibilities
- Respect and uphold all residents' personal and property rights while carrying out duties.
- Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Assist in conducting group or one-to-one activity programs according to the scheduled calendar.
- Prepare activity areas, equipment and supplies as needed while maintaing a tidy, pleasant atmosphere in activity rooms.
- Develop and distribute monthly activity calendars to residents, and make any necessary adjustments based on state and federal regulations.
- Follow resident care plans when providing daily activities.
- Foster an engaging and positive atmosphere through various activities that promote resident well-being.
- 1-2 years of experience in a related position, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Some training or aptitude for arts and crafts is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
